We highly Recommend AVL Welding. After searching for a welder to help us with a unique handrail in our Cabin we are so happy we connected with Patrick and his team. He literally took a piece of paper that I had drawn my IDEA of what I wanted and brought it to life! He even made it better then I expected! Pictures do not do it justice. We could not be happier!

So after striking out with another local welder, I approached Patrick of Asheville Welding to consider building me a custom made hitch-mounted starting gate to practice my starts for track (velodrome) racing. Not your typical request, by any stretch. The setup had to be adjustable to accommodate different bike dimensions, had to include a way to secure the rear tire, and even had to involve a clamping mechanism to support the seatpost. Well, Patrick delivered on all fronts. He took my request and even added a few additional touches I had not thought of. Plus he painted the entire setup, which I was not expecting. True 5-star service all the way around. I have fellow cycling friends who will be interested in something similar, so I'm sure I'll be calling Patrick again to make a few more of these custom start gates. Highly recommend Patrick and Asheville Welding!
